Our three judges—Danielle Place, creative director at Turner Broadcasting, Amy Berkley, photo editor at Field & Stream magazine, and Maria Wakem, editor of PDNedu—had the difficult task of choosing the winning photographs. They unanimously chose five First Place winners for the following new categories: Travel/Landscape, Fine Art/Personal Work, Documentary/Photojournalism, Still Life and Fashion/Portraiture. These five winners will each receive a Nikon digital camera and a Crumpler bag. In addition to the images of the First Place winners and Runners Up for each category, whose work also appear in the the print edition of PDNedu, the images of Web winners in each category are showcased above as well.
